Oil Pastels

“This project was for my art class at San Marcos High School. The assignment was to use oil pastels to make a piece of fruit. I wasn't very inspired by most fruit, but grapes seemed really challenging. When I was drawing it, I wasn't thinking about the significance of grapes in the Bible; however, I can't help but think of it now. John 14:23 is about vines and bearing fruit, and I think it relates to my painting.”

About My Art

“Although most of my life I have been used to using paints, pencils, and real paper, I love drawing digitally. As an artist, I take inspiration literally from everywhere, everything that I see, read or hear. I really want to see my art go into a more geometric abstract field, maybe even 3D modeling!”
